Our Children's Christian Education program is centered on several important beliefs:
-- Christians are both joyful and generous in their desire to spread the joy of Christ's spirit to others; children of all ages can participate in this essential task, and their teachers should encourage this participation.
-- Christianity should be appealing in and of itself; it should not and need not be forced on children.
-- Christianity sees all children as precious, and therefore all children deserve the utmost protection from harm.
-- In becoming Christian, children should receive both intellectual knowledge and practical guidance; they should learn how to think and how to act as Christians.
-- A Christian Education program should allow children to grow into independent Christians, and should free their parents to do the same; we recognize, in other words, that parents need time away from their children, so that parents can also grow spiritually.
-- Christian education should be fun.
