Members of the Community of Christ are people who accept roles of Christian discipleship. They are transformed as they continually seek to pattern their lives after the example and teachings of Jesus Christ.

Ministry is a free gift from God and God’s disciples and can take different forms…

• Sharing our resources with those who need them

• Being listeners for those who need to speak

• Praying with and for those who seek God’s spirit, assistance and guidance

• Providing a place of worship for expression of praise, appeal to the truths of God, receiving of divine enlightenment

• Bringing healing to those whose hearts have been broken and to those bruised by the world

• Spreading commitment to a deep understanding of others, finding and claiming our spiritual commonality, and reconciling ourselves to others and to God in our shared divine identity

• Being a catalyst for peace and justice
